Use a Computer

The library has public computers with Internet access. This describes what we have and how to use them.

The Edgewood Public Library has four public use computers, as well as a black and white printer.

All library internet users must have read and signed the Internet Access Policy. All persons under 18 years of age must have their Parental/Guardian Consent form signed by a Parent(s) or Guardian(s). By signing an Internet consent form the person agrees to use the Internet responsibly. Anyone visiting an inappropriate website will be asked to not do so. If, after warning the patron of inappropriate Internet use, the problem continues, the patron will lose their Internet privileges at the descretion of the library staff.

There is a sixty minute limit for computer use and patrons doing homework, writing resumes, applying for jobs or unemployment will be given preference over patrons who are gaming or surfing the Internet for entertainment purposes.

Along with the public use computers, the library has a wireless connection. Anyone with a laptop and a wireless card can connect to the Internet at the library.
